Hammerhead
One system. Every ambition.
Version 1.1.3Flagship campaign, bundle, and comparison command center
Quick start
- In Shopify admin, open Online Store → Themes.
- Upload the Hammerhead theme ZIP and keep it unpublished while you configure it.
- Open the theme editor, add your logo, colors, typography, navigation, products, and collections.
- Preview the storefront on desktop and mobile, then test product variants, cart actions, search, and checkout links.
- Publish only after your store content, policies, shipping, payments, and domain are ready.
Installation
Upload the original ZIP without extracting it. Shopify installs the theme into the theme library. Configuration and merchant content remain store-specific and are not included in the ZIP.
Before publishing, duplicate the configured theme to create a rollback copy.
Signature features

Customization
Brand settings
Use Theme settings to configure brand colors, typography, logo, social links, layout styling, and product-card behavior.
Header and navigation
Create menus in Shopify admin under Content → Menus, then connect them in the Header and Footer sections. Keep mobile labels concise and verify nested menus at narrow widths.
Home page
Assemble the storefront with the Control Hero, Campaigns, Command Grid, Product Deck, Bundles, Comparison, Lookbook, and Countdown sections. Disable any unused system rather than leaving placeholder content visible.
Products and collections
Add complete product media, descriptions, prices, inventory, variants, vendor, product type, and search-engine information. Configure collection filters and sorting in Shopify Search & Discovery where applicable.
Frequently asked questions
Does comparison require an app?
No. Hammerhead's theme-level comparison controls work with product information already rendered by Shopify. They do not require external API access.
Can I use the countdown for any promotion?
Use it only for a genuine campaign or event with a real deadline. Disable the section when no real deadline exists; do not use fabricated urgency or scarcity claims.
Why is Hammerhead heavier than the other themes?
It includes more optional merchandising systems. Remove unused homepage sections and keep product media optimized for the best mobile performance.
Can I add an app block?
Yes. Product and featured-product sections support Shopify app blocks and Custom Liquid insertion points.

Troubleshooting
Products are missing: confirm the selected collection contains active products available to the Online Store sales channel.
Images look cropped: adjust the section image ratio or focal point and use consistently sized source images.
A menu is empty: select the intended menu in the Header or Footer settings.
